We had a wonderful stay at the A Frame cabin. Very peaceful and Shilpee offers lots to do for entertainment. No need to leave cabin for entertainment. We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway . It is a windy road up to the cabin, but what is expected when going up the mountain.

My husband, pup and I were supposed to stay at Shiplee's right after the Fourth of July holiday. Unfortunately on our way to the A-frame, the roads were closed due to a fire. Though the fire was not close to the house there was a precautionary evacuation. I told the hosts of the situation and they responded immediately and were so understanding. They refunded our stay which we will most definitely put towards a stay at a later date. Thank you so much for your quick response and kindness. The area is gorgeous and we cannot wait to book another visit.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin during our family trip to Sequoia! Everything about the place was perfect — from the cozy and charming decor to the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a home away from home. The cabin was spacious enough for our family, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable. Although we didn’t get to spend as much time as we’d have liked in the cabin, mainly exploring Sequoia National Park, it was the perfect retreat after long days of adventures. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the cabin more. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area — it’s a wonderful place to relax and create lasting memories with family.

The hosts are very nice, responsive, and take care of their cabin well. We stayed and took a trip to the Trail of 100 Giants, and then hung out at the cabin, which were both a nice, well deserved break from the city.

We had a wonderful stay here during our trip to Sequoia! The space was perfect for our group of three and our two dogs and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi after a day of hiking, it was the perfect way to unwind while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and dog-friendly. Will definitely be recommending to other family members :)

We just wrapped up a weekend here and, honestly, the place blew us away. Place was pretty clean, It’s laid-out cozy walk in and it smells like fresh pine. We had really latte made in cafe machine, Up in the loft, the bed sits below a massive triangular window that looks straight into the treetops which is beautiful and there’s even a projector for movie nights. We cooked almost every meal in the well-stocked kitchen, and after dark we headed to the deck, fired up the grill, and chilled around the fire table with drinks in hand. Tons of nearby trails to oak forests, pines, and the famous 100 Giants Trail all close by.

Shilpee’s place was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I, along with our small dog, stayed for a 4-day getaway and loved every detail of the cabin. It was cozy, charming, and so thoughtfully put together. One of our favorite parts was relaxing in the hot tub at night, surrounded by peaceful nature sounds, it was the perfect way to unwind. Shilpee was also wonderful and very communicative throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely love to come back!💕

Loved our stay here! Amazing little Cabin! Super cozy and peaceful, we spent the night in the hot tub under the stars and mornings by the fireplace with coffee. The beds were really comfy (that loft view 😍), and the kitchen had everything we needed. It honestly felt like a little escape in the woods. Can’t wait to come back.
